International travel and tourism is worth approximately �18 billion to the UK each year. It is big business. There are a wide range of career options to explore. Our courses will provide you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to pursue a career in this diverse sector. This is a theory based course for learners who enjoy travelling, working with people and are able to demonstrate good customer service skills plus are interested in a career in travel and tourism. The course will encourage you to develop the practical skills and essential know how required in todays rapidly expanding travel and tourism industry. This course also includes an introduction to the Aviation Industry qualification.

What you need to get on

A minimum of 5 GCSE subjects graded 9-3 or equivalent including maths or English.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
