The Level 2 Extended Certificate covers knowledge, transferable skills and behaviours that will develop your employability and academic skills to progress to employment or a level 3 programme of study. This qualification is aimed at anyone wishing to follow a career in a dynamic and challenging industry, that offers a variety of employment opportunities at all levels. You may be interested in selling holidays as a travel agent, living and working overseas as a holiday rep or working in an airport or guiding tours around a wonderful city. Whatever you choose, this course will get you on the right path.

Four GCSEs at grade 3, including English and Maths
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
