Traineeships are available for 16-19 year olds (or up to 24 with learning difficulty) which last up to 6 months. These are available in all areas of Nottinghamshire, the aim of this programme is to build skills in the workplace which relate to a young person's chosen work area, which will help the young person secure employment or an apprenticeship. The traineeship includes a work placement offering developmental work experience, work training skills (for example CV writing), interview preparation and interpersonal skills. The student will also study maths and English. The student will also be able to apply for a bursary and claim student travel.
