As one of our courses on our employment pathway, our Ticket course aims to prepare students for a successful future in employment. This course will provide students with the knowledge, skills and practical work experience opportunities to become highly effective and successful employee within the workplace. As part of your course you will cover the following subjects: -Planning & Preparation- Target setting -BTEC Work Skill Units -Employability skills development -Work experience, working in a group or 1:1 with a job coach -Life Skills & preparing for adult life -Sport, Fitness & team work -Functional Skills or GCSE English and Maths, at a level that is appropriate level for you This course is ideal for you if you need some additional time to develop the skills and qualities required to become a successful employee and if you want to gain real-life experience of work that you can add to your CV. Group size 8, 3 days a week for 1 year

What you need to get on

This course is designed for students who are aged 16- 25 and who have additional needs and/or disabilities. There are no formal Entry requirements for this course, however most learners who access this course will have an EHCP.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A supported starting point if exams have not gone well yet.
