Applicants should have good literary skills, as well as a genuine interest in the study of plays and theatre. GCSE drama is highly desireable, but not essential. A good work ethic is of prime importance as is a commitment to group practical work.

What you need to get on

5 GCSE�s at grade 5+ (or Merit+ in equivalents). If the 5 passes does not include English (language or literature) and mathematics of grade 5+, students must, in addition, achieve at least a grade 4 in English (language or literature) and mathematics. Grade 4 or above in English language or literature. GSCE Drama is highly desirable.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
