This health and social care diploma is a two-year Level 3 course for school leavers and adults. The sector is one of the most varied, fastest growing and largest employment areas. A career in healthcare is rewarding and filled with amazing opportunities to progress. This qualification will provide a broad overview of the sector and you will develop an insight into the factors that affect individuals throughout their life, the roles and responsibilities of those working in this field, and the ways in which high quality care is provided. The course is ideal if you wish to progress onto university to study a health and social care related discipline or go into entry-employment.

What you need to get on

You must have either: � A minimum of 5 GCSEs grade 9-4 including English language and maths � A relevant Level 2 qualification (such as NCFE CACHE Level 2 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care, BTEC Level 2 Health and Social Care or GCSE Health and Social Care) at Merit or grade C and GCSE English language and maths at a grade 4 or above You will also be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check in order to undertake placement.
