The duration of this course is 2 years to achieve the Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care. When you have finished the course you can choose to go to work straight away or Apprenticeship or with enough UCAS points you can then progress to university. The college will help you in writing your CV, preparing for interviews, and with the UCAS application.

What you need to get on

A minimum of 4 GCSEs grade 9 - 4 including maths and English or a full Level 2 with a merit profile and grades 9 - 4 in English, Maths and Science. Learners will be subjected to an enhanced DBS check to confirm their suitability to work with children. This is required on final acceptance onto the course as required by law for all people working with children and/or vulnerable adults.
