What the college says
The transition to T Level in Business is a new, ground-breaking qualification for 16-19-year olds, specifically designed around a robust work placement giving learners valuable hands-on experience within a business. In addition, you will cover the theoretical knowledge needed in the world of business that is broad and engaging for all learners. Furthermore, will provide students with a route through education that has a clear progression pathway to further study such as a full T Level or an Apprenticeship.
What you need to get on
Students will require a minimum of 4 GCSEs 9-3 (formerly A*-D) including English and Maths; but specifically with a Grade 4 (formerly GCSE A*-C) or higher in either one of the subjects of English or Maths, preferably a GCSE in Business Studies and good knowledge of IT.
How you are assessed
Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
