Our Pre-Internship course is designed for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) working at Entry Level, who are aiming to build the essential skills, confidence, and independence needed to move towards supported internships, employment, or further training.
What you need to get on
This course is ideal for those:- Aged 18-25, with a current EHCP- Working at Entry Level 2-3- Travel trained (or actively working towards this)- Keen to move into paid work, volunteering or further training
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
A supported starting point if exams have not gone well yet.
Is it open to 16 to 18 year olds?
Not on the Section 96 list, but a school or college runs it full time, so check the age range with them.
