For Students aged 18+ with an EHCP, who have studied at Loughborough College for at least one year. The Supported Internship Programme helps students gain real work experience with the support they need to succeed. This course is perfect for students ready to move into work but who need extra guidance to build confidence and job skills. Students will be placed in a work environment where they can learn and practice important skills like communication, teamwork, and time management. With support from mentors and job coaches, students will get hands-on experience. You will complete a year-long individual placement, with the support of a job coach and at the end we will help you prepare and apply for jobs, or you could even be offered a job at your placement!

What you need to get on

There are no formal entry requirements, but learners must show willingness and ability to adapt to a work environment. This programme is for young people aged 18–24 with an EHCP who want to work with extra support, try an alternative to traditional study, gain skills and qualifications, and have completed one year in Further Education.
