What the college says
An RSL level 3 subsidary diploma is a practical, work related course. You will study all aspects of music; performance, composition, listening, and technology. This course will give you the opportunity to choose specific units that are tailored to your interests. You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.
What you need to get on
5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above. Whilst it is good for you to have some knowledge of music it is not necessary for you to have completed GCSs in Music or Music Technology before starting this course. When you have finished your course you will be able to look for employment or go on to further study in higher education.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
