Music has taken a huge leap forward here at Sandy Secondary School. The entire department facilities have undergone a complete transformation, and we are very excited to be offering the RSL Subsidiary Diploma for Music Practitioners. Our department now boasts a fully functioning iMac suite, with all midi and recording equipment for each station, a wellequipped professional recording studio space and multiple practice rooms with various instruments. This qualification which is equivalent to 1.5 A-Levels gives a broad overview of the music sector, with a focus on music performance. Students taking this qualification will complete 5 units over the two years.
What you need to get on
To succeed in this course, you must have a keen interest in music and the music industry. You will be a capable performer with some experience performing to an audience.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
