The Step into College course is a great option for those who don't have formal qualifications or haven't followed a traditional educational path who are interested in the Health and Social Care sector. You don't need any specific qualifications to apply, and applications are based on an informal discussion at interview. This course is ideal for students with barriers to learning due to the nurturing learning environment to help eliminate and support those barriers. This course combines a basic introduction to health and social care where you will study Level 1 award in Introduction to Health and Social Care and Children�s and Young People�s Settings, along with essential employability skills, English and maths.
What you need to get on
No specific GCSE entry qualifications are required, but you must successfully complete and submit your enrolment task as directed.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
