What the college says
Students will have the opportunity to experience both practical and theory lessons utilising the College’s fantastic facilities and are taught by experienced and enthusiastic industry professionals. Students have the opportunity to plan, deliver and coach sports events such as badminton, volleyball, football, and basketball, as well as explore and undertake fitness training at a local Gym. There are also visits to the Local Gymnastics Centre, Ipswich Town FC, and other leading Sport providers to learn practical skills in a new environment.
What you need to get on
Four GCSEs at Grade 3 including maths and English, or a Level 1 qualification plus maths and English at Level 1.
How you are assessed
One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
