This Level 2 qualification is perfect for giving students who wish to study Sport at Level 3, the entry requirements they need. It offers an excellent opportunity to work hard and play hard. The course has a balanced mix of practical and theory with a variety of learning and teaching methods and a range of assessments. It is is very hands on and you will be involved in sport activities from the start. We also have a wide range of enrichment opportunities to further your development and guide you on to the next step of your journey.

What you need to get on

Level 1 Diploma qualification in a relevant curriculum area or 2 GCSEs or more at Grade 3 (Including Maths and English with preferably PE or Science based subjects), and 1 GCSE at grade 4, plus a satisfactory interview and suitable reference. For students who have not yet achieved a grade 4 in Maths or English it is compulsory to study GCSE�s in each relevant subject. Attendance at these sessions is a vital part of your course to enhance your employability skills and prospects.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
