This course is for students who want to continue studying Spanish after GCSE. It will suit you if you enjoy languages and want to develop your understanding of Hispanic culture and society. It takes time and dedication to become confident in a language so you'll need to be hard working and willing to persevere. Modern foreign languages equip to communicate effectively for either social or work purposes. At A-Level you will build on your knowledge from GCSE and gain a deeper understanding and will be able to write essays and debate current affairs in your chosen language.

A minimum of a grade 6 in the appropriate language at GCSE.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
