The A-level specification builds on the knowledge, understanding and skills gained at GCSE. It constitutes an integrated study with a focus on language, culture and society. What you need to get on

A minimum of 5 subjects at Grade 4/BTEC Level 2 Pass or higher including a minimum of a Grade 5 in GCSE French.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
