Spanish is the second most widely spoken language in the world with over 400 million speakers. Through learning the language, you will be able to access the Spanish and Latin American cultures, which are rich in areas such as dance and literature.

What you need to get on

5 GCSE�s at grade 5+ (or Merit+ in equivalents). If the 5 passes does not include English (language or literature) and mathematics of grade 5+, students must, in addition, achieve at least a grade 4 in English (language or literature) and mathematics. In addition, a grade 5 or above Spanish GCSE.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
