Do you want to become fluent in Spanish? Do you love learning about different cultures? Would you like the opportunity to travel to Spain? If so, this course is for you! What is the course about? You will cover the following topics: ● Aspects of Hispanic society ● Artistic culture in the Hispanic world ● Multiculturalism in Hispanic society ●Aspects of political life in Hispanic society ● Hispanic cinema and literature. There will be a wide range of activities of a fun and useful nature in class including: role-play,discussion, grammar work, presentations, games, writing tasks, listening to CDs, DVDs, TV and computer tasks; chatting to the assistant, making posters, working through past papers etc. Students should make use of every opportunity to visit a Spanish-speaking country, perhaps on one of the organised exchanges or visits to Spain.
