The Foundation T Science is an ideal course for school leavers who enjoy science and want to develop their knowledge through practical, hands‑on learning. The course covers key topics from Biology, Chemistry and Physics, helping students understand how science works in real‑life situations. You will take part in practical experiments, investigations, and applied activities, building confidence in using laboratory equipment, analysing results, and explaining scientific ideas. Alongside scientific knowledge, the course develops important skills such as teamwork, communication, organisation, and independent learning. Assessment is a mix of coursework and external assessments, giving students different opportunities to show what they can do and supporting a smooth transition from GCSE study. This qualification is a strong foundation for progression onto Level 3 T Levels, or other science‑related courses. It is well suited to students who are considering future careers in healthcare, laboratory science, engineering, environmental science, or other STEM pathways.

Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
