A Level RS explores the responses to lifes most fundamental questions, helping students to reflect on their own beliefs and their place in the world. The course contains three components; Philosophy of Religion, Religion & Ethics, Developments in Christian Thought. The course will give you the opportunity to explore and challenge basic philosophical and ethical concepts and thinkers through debate, discussion and academic enquiry. You will also develop skills to examine arguments in a critical way to the highest academic standard. The course is perfect for students of all beliefs and none, who seek to understand the world around them in an open-minded way.

What you need to get on

Standard entry requirements: Maths and English Language at a grade 4. Based on Attainment 8 scores we will offer the following pathways: Vocational Pathway (selecting only Vocational Courses): 40, Combination Pathway (selecting a mixture of A Level and Vocational): 45, A Level Pathway (selecting only A Levels): 50. Subject specific requirements: A grade 5 in English Language or Literature and a grade 5 in RS, Geography or History. RS GCSE is not a requirement.
