What the college says
This academic A Level course is focused on a study of Philosophy, Religion and Ethics. The course enables students to develop an interest in and enthusiasm for the study of philosophy, gaining knowledge and understanding, using an enquiring, critical and empathetic approach. The course does not assume or require any previous study of the subject. If students are interested in modern issues, discussion and debate they will find this course challenging and inspiring. Students are expected to have an interest in current affairs, and to use an enquiring approach to the study of political, religious and legal events and ethical developments in society.

Five GCSE grades 9 - 4 or equivalent including grade 5 in Mathematics with grade 6 in English Literature and Religious Studies
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
