This A Level course involves studying Philosophy of Religion, Religion and Ethics and the study of Islam. You will study well known philosophical and ethical theories. These include the classical arguments for the existence of God, evil and suffering and religious experience. Through the Ethics component of the course students will study ethical theories such as Utilitarianism, Situation Ethics and Natural Law and how they apply to modern life.

What you need to get on

To take 3 A Levels at Allerton Grange you are required to have a minimum of 5 GCSE subjects at grade 4 and above. R.E specific requirements are English Language grade 5 or above, Maths grade 4 or above and a grade 5 or above in R.E.
