Religious Studies critically examines the teachings of religion and applies them to philosophical, sociological, and psychological questions. It develops students’ capacity to think in a clear, structured manner and their capacity to handle difficult concepts. The course is an in-depth exploration of the philosophical origins, role and ethical teachings of religion and its influence on modern society. What you need to get on

At least 5 GCSEs graded 9-5, including a grade 5 or above in English.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
