Psychology is the scientific study of the relationship between behaviour, performance and mental processes. In Psychology, you will study options such as; understanding mental health issues, how to improve sporting performance, the developmental process of children and how Psychology can explain criminal behaviour. You will also study research methods and their application in Applied Psychology as well us undertaking your own research project. Psychology is an ideal course to study alongside courses with psychology elements within them; Subjects such as Sociology, Criminology, Childcare and Sport and Physical Education.
What you need to get on
At least five GCSEs graded 9-4 including English, Science, and Maths at grade 4 or above.
How you are assessed
One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
