Psychology provides an insightful and intriguing explanation of mind and behaviour. Have you ever wondered: how far people would go to obey an authority figure and why; why do riots occur; are the brains of murderers different to the brains of non-murderers? You will have the opportunity to learn in a variety of ways, through virtual learning, independent study and classroom teaching. Amongst many other learning styles, you will gain experience in role play, mind mapping, debating and discussing, presenting work and conducting your own psychology research.

What you need to get on

A combined total of at least 10 across GCSE English Language and English Literature, plus GCSE Grade 5 in either Mathematics or Science Combines well with Biology, Chemistry, Health and Social Care, Mathematics, Physical Education, Sociology

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
