This qualification aims to prepare you for tackling the outbreak of infection in hospitals and healthcare settings and how to control infections by aiding you in understanding the many causes of infection and how it can be spread, as well as how you can help control it.Following the COVID19 outbreak, prevention and control measures through good practice are more key than ever before. This course will look at infection prevention and control in health and social care, the causes and spread of infection and the infection control procedures in health care.This course is part of Yeovil College’s new range of fully-online programmes – thoughtfully designed to allow maximum flexibility around work, family, or other life commitments. You’ll access all your resources through our dedicated online platform, and throughout your course, you’ll receive guidance and encouragement from a dedicated Yeovil College Assessor, who will mark your work and provide constructive feedback to help you progress confidently.You can apply to start this course at any time, but should be aware that once you’ve completed the admissions process and enrolled, you will have a fixed number of weeks to complete your programme.
