This qualification will prepare you for further learning and training whilst developing an understanding of the teaching and learning environment in a school setting. It covers areas such as how to support the well-being of a child or young person and also child and young person development.

What you need to get on

You will need to speak to the tutor to determine your eligibility for the course. Your English must be to a standard that will enable you to complete the written work. You must also complete an online induction. If you already have a comparable qualification at a higher level, you may not be eligible to study the course on a fully funded basis. You must be aged 19+ on 31 August 2025 to join this course.
