What the college says

This course is for learners who want to brush up their maths skills and gain confidence before undertaking a qualification in maths. When you enrol with us we will ask you to complete a simple test. If your level of Maths is above this level then we will refer you to that level Maths course. We do this to make sure you are studying at the right level to ensure your personal growth and development. You will be encouraged to attend regularly. When you have completed this course you can progress onto the next stage of learning Maths. Our Maths courses progress all the way to Functional Skills Level 2 which is the same complexity as a GCSE Maths Qualification and is regarded as an equivalent Level 2 qualification with employers when looking for jobs.

What you need to get on

You will need to provide evidence that you have any of the following: Been a resident of the UK/EU for the past three years. Proof of immigration status

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
