Are you a school-leaver or an adult looking to learn a trade and become a qualified plumber? This one year, Level 2 qualification does not make you a fully qualified plumber, however it allows you to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the plumbing sector. For 16-18 year olds who have not passed their GCSE maths and English and hold a Grade 3, you will be able to re-take your exams.

What you need to get on

You will need to demonstrate motivation and a keen interest in the plumbing and building services engineering industry. For 16-18 year olds a Level 1 Diploma in Plumbing is a requirement and GCSE Maths and English Grade 3 or above in each subject or equivalent.
