What the college says
This course is delivered in 1 year over two evenings a week. It allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the plumbing sector. It is for candidates who want to work as plumbers in the building services engineering sector. This qualification does not make candidates fully qualified plumbers
What you need to get on
A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 9 - 3 including a grade 4 in either maths or English and a Level 1 qualification.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
