Physical education is an A-Level course that combines practical sporting ability with theoretical knowledge and understanding of the world of sport. The practical part of the course consists of students being assessed as either a performer or a coach in one practical activity as well as completing an oral Evaluation and Analysis of Performance for Improvement (EAPI) in that same activity. Students are assessed based on core and advanced skills in each activity as well as their tactical awareness, decision-making skills and physical attributes/overall fitness levels.

What you need to get on

A minimum of 6 GCSEs (or equivalent) to start on 4 A/S Levels. These must be from at least 4 separate courses, with 4 GCSEs at A*-C and English & maths at grade 4 or better.
