Studying A Level Physical Education will give you a fantastic insight into the amazing world of sports performance. Not only will you have the chance to perform or coach a sport through the non-exam assessment component, you will also develop a wide range of knowledge into the how and why of physical activity and sport. You can use academic study to improve your performance through the application of theory.

What you need to get on

Level 6 or higher in GCSE PE is recommended. Although it is not ideal, if students have not studied GCSE PE, and achieved Level 6 in Biology and English you are welcome to discuss taking PE A Level with the subject leader

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
