What the college says
A level PE is for those students who enjoy and play sport on a regular basis. The course allows you to explore the hysiology, psychology and socio-cultural aspects of performance. It is envisaged that most students who opt for A Level PE will do so because this is where their specific interest and/or specialism lies. However, some may wish to consider A Level PE as a second, third or even fourth choice - the course is multidisciplinary, compatible with a wide range of other subjects including: Biology, Physics, Maths, History and French.

4 GCSEs Grade 9-6 including Physical Education Grade 9-6 or evidence of practical skills at this level and Grade 6 in Science
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
