What the college says
A Level PE includes the compulsory study of: Applied Anatomy and Physiology, Exercise Physiology, Biomechanical Movement, SKill Acquisition, Sports Psychology, Sport and Society and the Role of Technology in Physical Activity and Sport. Alongside these are the skills of PE component on performance.
What you need to get on
Five GCSE passes at Grade 5 or above. GCSE Grade 5 theory in Physical Education, if taken. Grade 5 in Double Science. Regular participation in and enthusiasm for one sport/activity.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
