The aims of the course are to enable students to develop knowledge, skills and an understanding of the factors influencing the quality of sporting performance.

What you need to get on

Standard entry requirements: 6 GCSE grades 4-9, including 2 @ grade 5 or higher Subject specific entry requirements: Physical Education - grade 5 or equivalent (if taken) English Language - GCSE grade 4 Double Science (Core and Additional) - minimum of grade 4 in BOTH, or a grade 4 in two separate sciences, with an aptitude for Biology (grade 5 preferred) At lest one grade 5 in another literate subject NOTE: MUST be participating competitively and regularly in at least one sport/activity from the course specification
