The study of Photography will deepen your understanding of the visual world across different times and cultures and introduce you to the diverse roles and functions of Photography in contemporary life. You will learn how to use a digital camera, experiment with a range of photographic processes and techniques, develop digital techniques including image manipulation using AdobePhotoshop.You will research from primary and secondary sources, undertake close analysis of artists' work, and develop ideas which will lead to creative and original final pieces. WHERE DOES IT LEAD? Advertising, graphic design, textile design, fashion design, product design, computer animation, visual communication, fashion, fine art and documentary photography, portraiture, sports photography, television, film, and teaching.

5 GCSEs @ Grades 4-9, including 4+ in GCSE English and 4+ in GCSE art if taken at Key Stage 4

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
