This course is aimed at Photography students who have an interest in acquiring and extending their practical 'hands-on' skills and digital skills whilst widening their knowledge of all photography disciplines. Along the way you will study - a broad range of analogue and digital photographic and camera skills that utilise traditional film / darkroom and digital workflow techniques and processes, through location and studio-based assignments encompassing a range of photographic genres. We place a strong emphasis on employability skills, such as presenting ideas, portfolio development and negotiating effectively with potential clients. The course will give you the skills and confidence to make ambitious , high-quality work and guides you step by step towards building a portfolio You will explore the creative software used by the industry to add your digital skills along the way. The course is supported by a series of educational visits to galleries and exhibitions so that you can experience the work you study at first hand.
