OCR's A Level in Religious Studies encourages learners to develop their interest in a rigorous study of religion and belief and relate it to the wider world. Students will develop knowledge and understanding appropriate to a specialist study of philosophy of religion, application of religious ethics and appreciation of religious thought as well as its contribution to individuals, communities and societies. Students will adopt an enquiring, critical and reflective approach to the study of religion and be able to reflect on and develop their own values, opinions and attitudes in the light of their study.

What you need to get on

Minimum of 5 9 - 4 grades at GCSE including a 5 grade in religious education and a 4 grade in English.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
