This specialist course is ideal if you have a passion for working on stage! It will give you the required skills and knowledge to pursue further studies and later a career in performing arts.
What you need to get on
You must have a passion for performing arts and be prepared to take part in an audition showcasing your skills in singing acting or dancing (or all 3). You will also need 4 GCSES at Grade 3 including English or Maths OR a Level 1 pass in a related subject plus English or Maths and both English and Maths must be at least grade 2 / Level 1 Functional Skills.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
