What the college says

As a BTEC Performing Arts student, you’ll be part of a ‘theatrical company’ and be passionate in developing your own performing arts skills. This course is equivalent to one A Level.

What you need to get on

Five GCSEs at grade 9-4, including a 4 in English. Alternatively, if you have studied at Level 2, you should have achieved a Merit or above. To study this course, you should have formal experience of two of the disciplines such as BTEC/GCSE in a Performing Arts subject, external dance, acting or singing grades (I.S.T.D, LAMDA, Trinity etc.) or regular experience via a youth theatre, school musicals, Rock Challenge or similar.
