This is a very enjoyable and challenging course for those students who enjoy performing and sharing their skills with others. There is an expectation that you will be committed to developing skills through private practice and will be prepared to take part in school productions. Furthermore, the completion of a successful portfolio requires a good level of organisation so work can be developed throughout the course. The course is based on the successful completion of a number of units.

What you need to get on

A minimum of 4 GCSE subjects at Grade 4, including GCSE Music, Dance, Performing Arts or Drama if taken.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
