Essential Digital Skills qualifications (EDSQ) teach people to safely engage with and contribute to the digital world.These qualifications suit those who want to improve their digital skills for daily life.EDSQs are mapped to national standards for basic digital literacy. Those with no or low digital skills are entitled to take the qualification free of charge. The EDSQ framework defines the digital skills adults need to safely benefit from, take part in and contribute to the digital world.

What you need to get on

Learners must be over the age of 19 years oldLearners need to have some basic digital skills. To enrol on this course you need to attend our job club. A pre-course assessment is required through a job club appointment.You also need access to the internet and suitable device(s) outside of the classroom.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
