What the college says

This is a 10 week accredited part-time programme. You will attend twice a week, it is an exam based course. You will learn through a variety of teaching methods which will aim to meet the needs of each individual and accommodate different learning styles for example, computer based, hands on tasks, case studies, practical work and interactive activities. Throughout the course you will study the following 5 units: 1. Using devices and handling information 2. Creating and editing 3. Communicating 4. Transacting 5. Being safe and responsible online.

What you need to get on

Have a basic knowledge of IT - No formal entry requirements needed. Progress from Go Digital or Digital Discovery Courses. You will need to take an initial IT assessment that will help us place you on the correct course.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A supported starting point if exams have not gone well yet.
