The BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate is equivalent to an A Level, and is a 360-guided-learninghour (GLH) qualification that consists of three mandatory units plus 1 optional unit, which will be completed over 2 years. The Curriculum focuses intensively on the Performing Arts disciplines of dance, drama and musical theatre, dependent on the pathway that you choose. The course is designed to be adaptable to students' interests, abilities and aspirations. It consists of three compulsory core units plus a choice of specialist units and is an introduction to the Performing Arts sector with emphasis on core knowledge and fundamental, transferable skills.

Dance: Grade 6 or Merit in Level 2 Dance or Audition Musical Theatre: Grade 6 or Merit in Level 2 Music or Audition Drama: Grade 6 in Drama Other relevant performing experience may be considered
