This exciting course will equip you with the fundamental tools that all actors require as performing arts practitioners. You will investigate and develop knowledge of the work of key acting practitioners which will inform your work and help develop research, critical analysis and extended writing skills. Explore and develop technical performance skills in a range of styles leading to numerous practical performance opportunities in our well-equipped performance spaces. You will collaborate with others to create devised performance work using all your skills and techniques. We also consider spiritual, moral, social, cultural and human values with our work

What you need to get on

To enter South Craven Sixth Form students need to have achieved Grade 9-4 at GCSE (A*-C), or Merits in other level 2 qualifications (e.g. BTEC, OCR Nationals), in at least 5 separate subjects including English Lit/English Language or Maths. This is considered to be the minimum entry requirement. Must include Grade 4 in GCSE Drama OR Merit in BTEC Level 2 Drama
