Our A-Level Religious Studies course aims to engage learners thoroughly and develop an interest in Religious Studies which extends beyond the classroom and can be applied to the world around them. This qualification is designed to develop a greater understanding and appreciation of religious beliefs and teachings, as well as the disciplines of ethics and philosophy of religion. Learners will develop their skills of critical analysis in order to construct balanced, informed arguments and responses to religious, philosophical and ethical ideas.

What you need to get on

It is desired that students have gained, or working towards, a qualification at grade 6 or above in this subject or relevant subject at GCSE level, but this is not essential. Additionally students should have 5 GCSE's grades 4-9 including Maths and English.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
