What the college says
The level 3 (NVQ) Diploma in Barbering is based on the National Occupational Standards for Barbering. It is a job ready qualification which requires learners to demonstrate in the workplace the skills and knowledge required for advanced barbering within the Hair industry. This is an advanced qualification and supports your barbering practices at the highest levels.
What you need to get on
You must already be qualified at Level 2 Barbering and be employed or have a work placement cutting men’s hair in a barbers for two days a week. You must also be in a supervisory role.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
