The Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Barbering is a job ready qualification based on National Occupational Standards (NOS). This qualification will provide you with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work competently as an advanced barber. Throughout this qualification you will monitor procedures to safely control work operations, provide hairdressing consultation services, creatively cut hair using a combination of barbering techniques, design and create a range of facial hair shapes and promote additional services or products to clients. Optional units will include some of the following;- Provide shaving services Design and create patterns in hair Colour hair using a variety of techniques Create a variety of permed effects Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities
