This course aims to prepare you for the world of work as a cleaning operative. You will gain practical knowledge and experience of the industry whilst studying with highly skilled staff in a specialist training environment. You will work towards a range of qualifications including COSHH and manual handling, as well as be trained on a range of cleaning equipment. You will also improve skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, health and safety in the workplace, and customer care. Throughout the course, you will also be given opportunities to participate in work placements with experts from reputable companies across Newcastle. As well as your voacational programme, you can work towards math and English qualifications, as well as a range of bolt-on qualifications such as CSCS card.
